Dr. Sara Holden
If you were to share one piece of dental advice, what would it be?
Dental floss doesn’t get the credit it deserves.
What is your favorite thing about dentistry?
Seeing patient progress, whether it’s from periodontal disease to health and maintenance or implant placement to final implant crown, taking that journey with them is very gratifying.
What do you want patients to say about their experience with you?
That I was able to help them understand their periodontal health. Every patient is different, as are their needs, and empowering them to be an active participant in their care is everything for me.
What charity or organization are you most passionate about supporting?
The ALS Association.
What do you do to stay up to date on the latest dental techniques?
Reading, reading and more reading. Spending time at meetings and with colleagues is so invaluable to put all the amazing research in my specialty into context for my patients.
If you weren’t a dentist, what would you do?
Be an architect!
