I doubt there is much more this office could do to make patients feel relaxed and welcome. I absolutely adore how attentive my doctor is during my visits. The staff shows a genuine level of concern for the well-being and long term outlook of my dental health. It is so very obvious how much the staff love their jobs and helping their patients. For me personally, I don’t feel there are enough adjectives to describe how good I feel coming to their offices, even when I am in pain.

Dr. Rusnak is an award-winning dentist and business owner. He is also an active philanthropist, who is passionate about supporting the Richmond community.
Dr. Molly Adler
A Northern Virginia native and Virginia Tech Hokie, Dr. Adler joined River Run Dental after completing a general practice residency at the Veterans Administrative Medical Center.
Dr. Cynthia Brooks
Dr. Cynthia Brooks has been practicing dentistry in the Charlottesville, VA area since 2001. Since then, she has been committed to providing high-quality dentistry in a friendly and peaceful environment and serving her community in the Charlottesville, VA area.
Dr. Ariadne Dane Dongieux
Dr. Dongieux is an accomplished dentist who is passionate about her patients. She is a firm believer in the power of a confident smile - functionally, socially, and even professionally.
Dr. Jacob Fant
Dr. Jacob Fant completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is passionate about making dentistry accessible and comfortable for his patients here at River Run.
Dr. Brittany Field
Dr. Field attended VCU School of Dentistry, followed by a residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. She loves creating an environment where her patients feel comfortable.
Dr. Rubana Masood
Dr. Rubana Masood completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at The University of California- Los Angeles. Her ultimate goal is for her patients to leave the office feeling better than when they came in.
Dr. Shrineel Patel
Dr. Patel served as Vice President of his dental school class at the VCU School of Dentistry. He aims to not only to help his patients achieve their treatment goals, but to also build trusting relationships with them.
Dr. Nitya Reddy
Dr. Nitya Reddy is our in-house Periodontist. She specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease as well as dental implants. Dr. Reddy focuses on creating connections with her patients and being part of their oral health journey throughout their life.
Dr. Fernando Saavedra
Dr. Fernando Saavedra, originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, now proudly calls Richmond VA his home. A dedicated dentist with River Run Dental, he brings a compassionate approach to dental care, focused on meeting individual health goals using leading-edge technology. Dr. Saavedra is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Emily Sinclair
Prior to her career in dentistry, Dr. Sinclair also received a Masters Degree in Human Physiology, where her thesis research focused on growth factors involved in head and neck cancers.
Dr. Vanessa Sturz
Dr. Vanessa Sturz prioritizes empathy and compassion when working with her patients. Her goal at River Run is to help patients overcome dental anxiety and maintain their oral health.
Dr. Alexa Vinson
A graduate of the VCU School of Dentistry, Dr. Vinson is an active member of the Virginia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Jennifer Wheeler
Dr. Wheeler is passionate about giving back to her local community. She actively supports a wide range of organizations such as Give Kids a Smile, Mission of Mercy, and the Mechanicsville Free Dental Clinic.
Dr. Omar Gabr
Dr. Omar Gabr, DDS, MS, is a specialist in endodontics, performing advanced root canal treatments, microsurgeries, and emergency care with the support of cutting-edge technologies such as CBCT imaging, GentleWave® Multisonic and Fotona laser-assisted irrigation, and guided endodontics with 3D printing applications.
Dr. Anthony Brazil
Dr. Anthony Brazil is a Navy veteran dentist with eight years of military service who now provides patient-centered care at our Virginia Beach location.
Dr. Michelle Brutten
Dr. Michelle Brutten, DMD, is known for her blend of clinical expertise, artistic eye, and warm, approachable personality. With nearly a decade of experience, she has developed a strong passion for aesthetic, orthodontics, and surgical dentistry, where precision meets creativity. Known for her great sense of humor, Dr. Brutten believes that dentistry doesn’t have to feel intimidating, and that a genuine laugh can be just as therapeutic as a great smile.
Dr. Lindsey Putnam
Dr. Lindsey Putnam received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and Public Health from Elon University. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and completed her General Practice Residency at the University of Virginia.

A Dinwiddie native and VCU School of Dentistry graduate, Dr. Krystin Potter delivers comprehensive general and esthetic dentistry with a community-focused, compassionate approach designed to alleviate anxiety and build lasting patient trust.
