Dr. Cynthia Brooks
What is your best piece of dental advice?
Get an electric toothbrush and learn to love flossing (that’s 2 pieces of advice!)
What is your favorite thing about practicing dentistry?
My favorite thing about dentistry is how gratifying it is to be able to identify a problem and fix it. In turn, I get to see the results of my efforts and know that I helped someone in the process.
If you weren’t a dentist, what would you like to do?
If I wasn’t a dentist, I’d love to work in a bookstore.
How do you stay up to date on the latest dental techniques?
I stay up-to-date by participating in online continuing education courses (CE’s).
What charity or organization are you most passionate about supporting?
I am very passionate about supporting the The Leukemia and Lymphoma Societies. Many of my family members have been affected by these diseases, so these organizations are close to my heart.
What do you want patients to say about their experience with you?
I hope my patients say that they were well taken care of, that they received excellent care and that they were treated with compassion.
