Second Annual Dentistry from the Heart Recap
Richmond, Va. – This past Saturday, September 30, River Run Dental hosted its second annual Dentistry from the Heart Event in Richmond. The event surpassed last year’s inaugural event in overall dental work provided.
75 PATIENTS WERE SERVED IN SEVEN HOURS
For its second year, the practice guaranteed dental care to the first 50 people. River Run Dental was able to see a total of 75 unique patients between 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Registration was cut off at 1:00 p.m. in order to accommodate everyone who was registered at that point.
OVER $24,000 OF FREE DENTAL CARE PROVIDED
“We could not have asked for a better day to host our second Dentistry from the Heart event,” said Dr. Brent Rusnak, owner of River Run Dental. “Everyone was very pleased with the turnout, the services provided, and the new people we met!”
COMMUNITY SUPPORT
To help the practice see as many patients as possible, River Run Dental was joined by Dr. Neil Agnihotri of Virginia Oral & Facial Services for the second year in a row.
“It meant so much to have Dr. Agnihotri and his assistant support the event with us again this year,” said Rusnak. “We are fortunate to have other medical professionals in the Richmond community see the value in giving back and donate their time and service to our annual Dentistry from the Heart event.”
River Run Dental also received local media support leading up to the event from Channel 8 News, Channel 12 News, OurHealth Richmond, RichmondMagazine.com, Chesterfield Observer, RVAHub, and other local groups and organizations.
The date for River Run Dental’s next Dentistry From The Heart event will be announced in January 2018.
