Yes! We absolutely welcome new patients and would be thrilled to have you join our River Run Dental family. We offer flexible scheduling options and will work closely with you to find the perfect appointment time that fits your busy life. While we do our best to accommodate walk-ins, we highly recommend calling ahead or using our convenient online booking portal. This allows us to reserve your specific time and ensure we have everything prepared for your arrival.
What days do you see new patients?
We will see new patients Monday-Friday at our Charlottesville dental office.
How long will my comprehensive oral evaluation take?
Our in-depth assessment typically takes up to 90 minutes. This time is dedicated to ensuring a complete understanding of each patient’s oral health. The comprehensive approach includes a detailed examination, necessary x-rays, and a dental history review, allowing our doctors to make the best suggestions and guidance for your dental needs.
How much will my comprehensive evaluation cost?
Many times, your dental insurance will cover your initial visit in full. If you do not have dental insurance, we recommend enrolling in our Dental Wellness Savings Program or Sunbit pay-over-time financing.
How do I transfer my dental records to River Run?
Transferring your dental records is easy. Call our office for a release form (which we’ll then use to request your records) or contact your current dentist directly to send them to us at [email protected].
Do you accept Medicaid?
Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicaid at this time. However, many patients with Medicaid still choose to visit River Run based on our level of expertise and care.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We encourage children to begin seeing us around age 4. River Run Dental offers nearly all dental treatments and services for children, so we can be their primary dental home and help them start on the path to a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes, we participate with Care Credit. We also offer a dental wellness savings program.
Do you have a referral program?
We consider a referral from our patients one of the highest compliments we can receive! We do have a referral program called Introductions. For more information, please click here.
I’m pregnant. Can I come to the dentist?
Yes, it’s safe and recommended to see a dentist during pregnancy. Regular dental checkups help keep your gums healthy throughout your pregnancy, helping to reduce risks. Of course, always check with your care provider for the go-ahead on dental treatment and be sure to tell our team and dentists that you are pregnant when visiting.
