The River Run Dental experience is focused entirely on you and your individual dental needs. We like to begin our relationship with new patients by performing a comprehensive oral evaluation. At this appointment, your hygienist and doctor work together to establish a baseline for your oral health. It is essentially a complete physical from the neck up.
Exceptional dental care is just the beginning of the new patient experience at River Run Dental. During your comprehensive oral evaluation you will enjoy relaxing in our of our massage chairs, making selections from our complimentary comfort menu, and simply getting away from the pressures of your daily life.
We offer comprehensive oral evaluations Monday-Friday between 6:30AM and 4:00PM.

We see new patients Monday-Friday.
How long will my comprehensive oral evaluation take?
This appointment will take about 60 minutes.
How much will my comprehensive evaluation cost?
Many times your dental insurance will cover your initial visit in full. If you do not have dental insurance, we recommend enrolling in our Dental Wellness Savings Program.
How do I transfer my dental records to River Run?
It’s simple to transfer your dental records to our practice. Call our office and request a copy of a records release form. After you sign and return this form we will request your records be sent from your current dentist. If you would prefer, you can contact your current dentist directly and request that the records be sent to our office or e-mailed to us at info@riverrundentalva.com.
Do you accept Medicaid?
Unfortunately we do not accept Medicaid at this time.
Do you treat children?
Yes! We recommend that children first see us around age 4.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes, we participate with Care Credit. We also offer a dental wellness savings program.
Do you have a referral program?
We consider a referral from our patients one of the highest compliments we can receive! We do have a referral program called Introductions. For more information, please click here.
I’m pregnant. Can I come to the dentist?
Not only is it safe to come to the dentist when you are expecting, it is recommended. Studies show a correlation between severe gum disease and preterm labor so regular dental visits will help you avoid the risk. Please just inform our office that you are pregnant prior to being seen.

Introductions is the River Run Dental rewards program. If you were introduced to us by a friend or family member, make sure you mention their name when making your reservation. At the conclusion of your comprehensive oral evaluation we will mail the referring patient a $20 gift card to express our appreciation. You will be presented with a $10 gift card as a thank you for participating in our Introductions program!
