Halloween Candy Buy Back in Richmond, VA

Each year Operation Gratitude organizes a nationwide candy buy back in order to benefit US Troops serving overseas. Rusnak Family Dentistry is proud to participate in this event by serving as a local hub for “buying back” your Halloween candy!  Last year we collected over 100 lbs. of candy. This year our goal is 150 lbs!

How does the event work?

Anyone can bring their leftover candy by our office during normal business hours from November 1 – November 8. We will enter you into a raffle to win a $50 gift card and then we will send all the candy to Operation Gratitude, where it will be separated into individual care packages for our deployed Troops. Participants are also encouraged to bring letters written to Troops to accompany the care packages.

Donate as a Group

We encourage people to join together with their neighbors, classes, coworkers, and friends in order to donate their candy as a group. This is a great way for your girl scout troop, club, or department at work to make a real difference in our Richmond community.
